We were users before we were vendors.
At bavetic, we were long-time users of Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket before we became vendors. We started on our own servers and now work in the Cloud.
For a decade, we have built apps to solve problems we encountered ourselves. Now we are making those apps available to you.
A decade of customizing Atlassian tools.
We started with Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket around ten years ago, self-hosted on our own hardware, back when Atlassian was still offering their Server products. What kept us there was how flexible the tools were. If a team had a process, you could adapt the tool to fit it, rather than changing the process to fit the tool.
So we started building our own plugins (nowadays called apps). Approval workflows, reports, and small extensions that turned complex processes into things our tools handled automatically. They were not much to look at, but they saved people hours.
Since we were customers too, much of what made our instances work was written by other people and found on the Atlassian Marketplace. We have not forgotten what that meant to us.
Then came the move to Cloud, and a lot of what we relied on did not come with it. Some apps disappeared as Data Center introduced new requirements for vendors. Others simply could not be rebuilt because Cloud did not offer the same level of extensibility as Server. Apps we had used for years disappeared from the Atlassian Marketplace.
We want the Marketplace to stay a place where you find apps that solve your exact problem. But those apps do not appear there by themselves. The ones we kept waiting for, we now build ourselves, and we are sharing them with you.

High quality apps also means high quality support. Questions, feedback, and feature requests are answered directly by the team who built the app. We usually reply within 24 hours.
